Common Knowledge: When the Calimemnon Crystal shattered during the Spellplague, it released the djinn Calim and his rival, the efreet Memnon, to resume their millennia-old war, ushering in the Second Era of Skyfire. Calim and Memnon overthrew Calimshan\'s government and marshaled forces of efreets, djinns, genasi, and human slaves. What was once a prohibition against elemental races became an open invitation to any who would offer allegiance.
After many years of war, without warning or reason, the two great entities disappeared again. But strife between their followers did not end. Some outsiders refer to the contested area as the Skyfire Emirates.
Benefit: You gain resist 4 fire and a +5 bonus to Endurance checks made due to thirst.
At 11th level, your resistance improves to 7. At 21st level, it improves to 10.
Short Description: Calimshan\'s unforgiving desert can sear the skin and strip the bones of the unwary traveler, but its inhabitants pose the greatest danger. War has ravaged the landscape of the former human nation, leaving it even more desolate than before. Two forces contest the land: the genasi followers of Calim and those of his nemesis, Memnon.

Weapon Proficiency (Greatspear):You gain proficiency with the Greatspear.

Bravo:You gain training in the Intimidate skill.
Once per encounter, as a minor action, you can designate one creature you can see as your prey, gaining +2 to attack rolls and damage rolls against that creature until the end of your next turn. The creature remains your prey until it drops to 0 hit points, until you end the effect as a free action, or until the end of the encounter?whichever comes first.

Two-Handed Weapon Expertise:You gain a +1 feat bonus to weapon attack rolls you make with a two-handed melee weapon. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus to the damage rolls of charge attacks you make with a two-handed melee weapon. Both of these bonuses increase to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.

Weapon Focus (Spear):You gain a +1 per tier feat bonus to damage rolls of weapon attacks with weapons in the Spear group.

Power Attack:When making a melee attack, you can take a -2 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, you gain a +2 bonus to the damage roll (or a +3 bonus to the damage roll with a two-handed weapon).
This extra damage increases by level, as shown on the table below, but the attack penalty remains the same.

Surprising Charge:When you make a charge attack against a target that is granting combat advantage to you, the attack deals 1[W] extra damage if you hit with a light blade or a spear.

Martial Cross-Training:You lose one use of your power strike power. In exchange, you gain an encounter attack power of your choice. The power must be from your class and be of your level or lower.

Impaling Spear:Whenever you use a spear to make a melee basic attack, you can target AC or Reflex.

Improved Defenses:You gain a +1 feat bonus to Fortitude, Reflex, and Will. This bonus increases to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.
